We do our best to maintain the highest level of manufacturing standards. We test each garment individually by hand to check for fabric flaws, seam strength and durability. While many large companies now outsource their manufacturing work overseas in order to reduce costs and increase profits, here at ByMarisa, we believe that by keeping our production local, we are able to oversee each stage of development and construction personally. In the end, we not only wind up with a superior product, but we are able to continue to support the struggling manufacturing industry in the USA.

All ByMarisa Leotards feature a fuller cut bottom for comfort and coverage. The legs are designed to stay in place by incorporating By Marisa’s exclusive use of fabric to bind the leg openings instead of elastic which perpetually loses its stretch and shortens the life of the garment. It’s a more complicated process, but most dancers agree it is well worth it!

Our styles with sleeves feature no shoulder seams and a snug fit under the arm. There is no extra fabric to pucker and distort your line when you raise your arms.

All ByMarisa unitards and unishorts for men and women have no center seams. Our innovative unitards draw the fabric into your back while graceful lines over the hip form a distinctive point in the back, slenderizng all body types.

Tired of ironing chiffon skirts and cutting then burning the edges to keep them from fraying? ByMarisa is the first to introduce skirts made entirely of stretch mesh. You can cut them to suit your line and they won’t run. Any wrinkles just melt away and they are fully washable.

Our Nylon Micro Fiber fabric has amazing stretch and memory. It feels like brushed cotton but performs with the technology of a micro fiber. It is beautifully paired with matching Crushed Panne Velvets and Plain Panne Velvets with the resulting look and feel that is nothing short of luxurious. 

Our Nylon Mesh is firm enough to offer support as our built in bra but soft enough to swing as a circle skirt. Choose our soft Stretch Lace to add subtle sexiness and style to your dancewear.

Our newest fabric is part of the Pilateswear line. ByMarisa is the first to import this fabric from Italy for use in the dance market. Made of Meryl® and DuPont Lycra® it feels like brushed suede on the inside. You won’t to take it off! Featured in style PWF215C.

For a little more support with some style, we are importing a custom dyed Piquet for use in our unishort style 311P. It is a sort of waffle textured Elasthane that is truly unique.
